Makes You Wonder (New $500 Ghostface Doll Released)

These artists arrests make you wonder about the hip hop police, think about it. In the meantime check out this Ghostface Doll that's just been released(remember this guy had millions of dollars and was caught robbing somebody in Staten Island; These Wu-Tang cats, lol). Also stay tuned for my picks for the hottest hip hop kicks, I got some fire for you guys, I think I'll do a top ten(maybe haha). PEACE

This one’s been bubbling for a hot minute now. Damn, we first dropped knowledge on this one back in September 06 (”Theodore Unit on Def Jam, Ghostface doll“). After a long, long waiting period, the Ghostface doll is finally available … and it’s actually looking like it could be worth the wait.

All the info is here at www.theghostfacedoll.com or at the 4cast store, where you can buy the thing for $499.99! Otherwise here’s a rundown of what you get.

TOP OF THE DOLL:
The doll is adorned with Ghostface’s do-rag and Red Yankees fitted. The hat is poseable any which way you want, from Ghostface’s touch the sky with the bill or str8 up backwards like we all used to do.

EAGLE WRISTBAND: The wristband that has since been melted has been resurrected. Ghostface’s classic, “how did he carry that heavy thing?” eagle wristband, has been scaled down and recreated for his doll. It adorns a diamond in the front and is made with 14k gold.

CHAIN AND PENDANT:
“Medallions the size of dinner plates.” Ghostface’s classic godly dinner plate has been recreated and scaled for his doll. Made with 14k gold, this chain and pendant is one of the flashiest pieces of jewelry you will ever see on a doll, or even a real life rapper.

ROBE AND SHOES:
The Ghostface Doll rocks a classic Ghostdini robe that would be fit for a king. This robe shows you that Ghost was all about comfort. The doll is also wearing the Ghostface signature Wallabees. Ghostface single handedly made these shoes cool for everyone to wear, and helped give everyone an alternative to dress shoes. The doll also has one pant leg tucked into his shoe, in classic Ghost fashion.

AUDIO: Like A Wu Tang Magic Eight Ball: Built with a state of the art electronic voice unit the doll speaks originally recorded lines from the wally don himself. All it takes is the push of a button to hear some of the illest lines ghostface ever recorded.

SOUND BYTE TITLES:
I put it in em shot up in em deadly venom
Ghostface, ghostface
Remember when i longed dicked you and broke your ovary
Yo bitch i fucked your friend ya you stank ho.

CERTIFICATE:
Each doll includes a 4CAST Limited certificate of authenticity. Each certificate has a gold seal that can not be duplicated and confirms the authenticity of the limited edition doll. Each one is hand signed by the creator of the doll.

PACKAGING:
The Doll is enclosed in a box that has remanants of Fine Louis XIII cognac. The design on the packaging is a Ghostface monogram print which includes the eagle and GF logo. On the inside of the box behind the actual doll itself is a black and white NY skyline to represent the place where hip hop and Ghostface come from.

PRODUCT ID STICKER:
Each sticker placed on the back of the box has a unique 4CAST product identification number as well as description of the product. This number gives each owner a unique ID that will allow them access to certain features of the company, and allows them exclusive opportunities for future products.

MIX TAPE:
Take a journey through 36 of Ghostface’s greatest hits mixed by none other than World Famous Beat Junkie, DJ Rhettmatic. The mixtape is exclusive to this product and is numbered in correlation to the numbered doll

Snoop Dogg Pleads guilty on gun charges

SANTA ANA, Calif. - Snoop Dogg pleaded guilty Thursday to one count of felony possession of a dangerous weapon and was sentenced to 160 hours of community service and three years probation, his attorney said.

Snoop Dogg, 35, was arrested in September 2006 after the discovery of a collapsible baton in his computer bag at John Wayne Airport in Orange County.

Authorities said it was a dangerous weapon. He said it was a prop for a video he was filming in New York.

His attorney, Donald Etra, said the felony conviction would be reduced to a misdemeanor after one year if Snoop Dogg does not violate the law.

"We are very pleased with the outcome," Etra said. "Snoop's goal is to make music, not make court appearances."

In the plea deal, Snoop Dogg was also ordered to make a $10,000 charitable donation, Etra said.

"He wants to get on with his life," Etra said. "He will continue his music and his filming and performing."

The case is Snoop Dogg's second in the past year. He was arrested at Bob Hope Airport in Burbank on Oct. 26 on suspicion of transporting marijuana. Police later found a gun at his home.

The rapper, born Cordozar Calvin Broadus Jr., pleaded no contest in April to felony gun and marijuana charges and agreed to five years' probation and 800 hours of community service.

The cases marked the end of a relatively long trouble-free stretch for Snoop Dogg. He had burnished his image in recent years with appearances in mainstream movies and by starting a youth football league.

Snoop Dogg was convicted in 1990 of cocaine possession and charged with gun possession after a 1993 traffic stop. In 1997, he pleaded guilty in exchange for three years' probation and a promise to make public service announcements against violence.

He was acquitted of a murder charge in 1996 after the death of an alleged street-gang member killed by gunfire from the vehicle in which Snoop Dogg was traveling.

Trey Songz Arrested

Trey Songz

Trey Songz was arrested in Springfield, MA with several members of his crew after a shooting outside his concert. Apparently he was charged with Disorderly Conduct and was released soon after on a $500 bond. The Police Lt. explained to h1phop.com
Our disorderly person charge can involve several different things including the use of certain language, failure to do what an officer asks.

And this wasn’t his first arrest if this nature either. Trey was arrested by the Clark Atlanta University Police Department and charged with the offenses of Obstruction of a Law Enforcement Officer and Disorderly Conduct. Get it together Mr. Tremaine Neverson. And seeing that an altercation broke out at another one of Trey’s concerts back in October, WTF is up with folks fighting at an R&B concert? Is it really that serious? My people my people

T-Pain arrested

T-Pain
Hip Hop(I thought he was R&B) star and Tallahassee native T-Pain has been arrested by the Leon County Sheriff’s office this morning. According to deputies, 24-year-old Faheem Najm, also known as T-Pain, was arrested for outstanding warrants from the Tallahassee Police Department. The arrest comes one day before the Hip Hop star is expected to perform at FAMU’s homecoming concert. Najm is charged with a non moving traffic violation and driving while license suspended.

T.I Arrested- Close source says he was setup

T.I

An Atlanta native who witnessed T.I.’s arrest on Saturday afternoon (October 13) recently detailed the shocking incident.

As reported earlier, T.I. was arrested at a shopping center parking lot in midtown Atlanta yesterday while trying to purchase a machine gun and two silencers from his bodyguard.

Hassan Musaddiq, an Atlanta based camera man who witnessed the rapper’s arrest, recounted the incident to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution saying that the authorities took T.I., his longtime girlfriend Tameka “Tiny” Cottle and rappers Mac Boney and Young Dro into custody.

“I saw the ATF (The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives) come out of nowhere,” Musaddiq explained. “They had them all on the ground. At first, I didn't even realize it was T.I. It was crazy. There was an unmarked black van and then about 10 squad cars came in.”

“I didn't see T.I. with any weapons but the ATF officers had guns out,” Musaddiq continued. “It was total drama.”

T.I.’s bodyguard, who had been working for the rapper since July, was reportedly busted on Wednesday (October 10) for trying to purchase the aforementioned guns from an undercover ATF agent.

While in custody, the bodyguard agreed to co-operate with the authorities and revealed that he was buying the guns for T.I. and he had also bought other guns for the rapper in the past. He also told the police about other guns in T.I.’s bedroom closet at his Atlanta home

The authorities would then record the bodyguard holding a series of conversations with T.I.< /STRONG> about buying the guns. The bodyguard then arranged the meeting at the parking lot for T.I. to pick up the guns.

The arresting officers would find three other guns in the car that T.I. drove to the parking lot.

A search of T.I.’s home shortly after the arrest would produce six guns which were discovered in his bedroom closet.

T.I. has been charged with two felonies--possession of three unregistered machine guns and two silencers, and possession of firearms by a convicted felon.

The rapper is a convicted felon on seven year probation thanks to drug and illegal firearm possession charges he picked in the late 90’s.

T.I. will remain in federal custody until Monday (October 15) when he will appear before a judge at the United States Courthouse in Atlanta.

Vanessa McLemore, an ATF special agent, told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution in statement Saturday that T.I. is facing a “potentially long prison sentence”.

A source close to T.I., who chose not be identified, revealed to Media Takeout earlier today (October 14) that the rapper had never tried to purchase guns and it was his bodyguard acting on his own.

“[The bodyguard] asked T.I. for an advance on his [pay] and T.I. gave it to him,” the source said. “Whatever he spent money on--whether it is guns, drugs, or formula for his children--T.I. had nothing to do with it.”

The source also said that the guns found at T.I’s home belonged to his security.

“T.I. has security that lives with him and stay with him at all times,” the source explained. “The gun that the [federal agents] found belonged to his security team--all of whom are licensed to carry them”.

Rappers keep getting arrested

Okay, rappers have been getting arrested back to bac so much lately, the hip hop police must be jealous. Are these rappers just making irresponsible desicions; or are they being targeted? I am going to post the latest arrests with thier stories hopefully we observe our actions andlearn from this.

JAY-Z on 50, EM and dre 3000

The Jigga Opinion

On first week album sales predictions:
The only thing I think about the first week is… I got a string right, and I’m in a tie with the Beatles or something. I think the Beatles are number one and the Rolling Stones. It’s either, Elvis, the Beatles and the ‘Stones. They’re all in the running. It’s me and them. I’m in the company of those four. So the next number one album puts me over another one of them. That’s what I think about the first week. Other than that, I really think about making a great album. Because that part of it is over for me. It’s really just a challenge of making music and have everybody love it. The more people love it, the better for me. That’s it, because, I’m not going to make no money off the album. What am I going to do, recoup? [Laughs] That ain’t never going to happen.

On Curtis, Marshall and Andre:
50 and I… We’re competitors but we’re cool. It’s a line of respect. You might—you just never know. Tomorrow, he might go crazy and throw a shot. But we still compete at a high level, so it’s cool. Like, it’s a respectful thing. We see each other, we laugh. We do more laughing than anything. It’s weird. I think I set the tone early, you know what I’m saying, after his first record [“How To Rob”]. I seen him when I was going on stage [at Hot 97 Summer Jam]. And I was like, “You know, I’m a get you.” I think he respected that a lot. You know, I’m more friendly with Em. I don’t really have a rivalry with him at all. Like, we talk on the phone. We talk on the phone. It’s all hip-hop at the end of the day. We all fighting for our space but if everybody fail—it’s no good. You need for other people to keep the genre alive and keep it healthy. Strong. So you’re standing on something that’s worth something. Like we still need Detox. But Dre is a perfectionist. The thing about him is you’re never going to be mad at the end result. If you ever get it, you won’t be mad.

On the best MC’s today (present company excluded):
I think Andre 3000 is amazing. I think he’s—I’d put Em and Andre… 50… 50’s more of the total package. He has the total package. Fantastic melodies and an incredible hook writer and he’s a good rapper. He’s a really good rapper. But lyrically, I would put those two guys, you know what I’m saying up there. When Andre does rap, shit. It’s like, okay. It’s inspiring. When we see each other, we talk in detail. We don’t say, “What’s up, I’ll see you later,” we talk and we’ll have words. It’s a respect thing.

On Ann Jones’ baby boy:
That [battle] thing is so over, man. That thing is so over. Like I told you, he came to the studio that day, listened to the record [“Success”], like, “Yeah!” He was excited, ready to get on it and that’s it. That whole thing—we’re adults. We went through a thing that was a little more than rap because it was personal situations involved. But at the end of the day, we was just people competing at the top. We competed, two big blows, and then two heavy joints landed, boom-boom, and we shook hands and like, “Yo, I respect you because somebody would’ve crumbled under that pressure.” “I respect you cause your still standing nigga.” [Laughs] “A nigga would’ve fell out from that joint.” “Nigga, you still standing too, but we still got that thing.” But it’s good. The fact that people still fascinated by it is great, but we’re so far past that. So far past that.

On Foxy Brown:

At this point—you can only help somebody to a certain point then you gotta let them help themselves and hopefully you’ll meet back up. That’s where it is for me. It’s like, if you see somebody just keep banging their head on the wall, and you keep fixing it and they still banging their head and they keep doing things… You gotta at some point say—alright, you—gotta stop touching that, you’re going to get burnt. Stop touching that—you’re going to get burnt. At some point, you gotta let them touch it and get burnt. And then hopefully, they’ll come back around some day. You just got to let somebody walk his or her path.

On the rocks thrown at his Presidential throne:
It’s sad. You rather a guy—and I’m not being racist—you rather a white guy who’s never went in a booth tell you that [your record’s not good]? People are cool with that. They accept that more so than from somebody’s who done it. I mean, young artists they don’t have a problem… It doesn’t benefit me if you don’t sell records. Like, what happens to me?! It fucks me up as well. There’s a red dot on my shit like there’s a red dot on your shit. But the only thing I will say, I’ve done as much or more than anybody in my three years at this time of the music business. More than any person in the business. Broke new artists, maintained careers, brought back careers more than any other person. But just because of who I am, I’m on a higher level of critique. People don’t know, who’s the guy at Jive—Barry Weiss… Mark Pitts. No one is saying nothing about Mark Pitts! He’s putting out records! But me, every single release, it’s like, scrutinized. But once again, that’s the high level people hold me to. I love it. It makes me deliver and pushes me to deliver more. But it’s the gift and the curse as well.

On failing to acquire the rights to rename the NJ Nets arena:
We wanted that. They turned us down. We’re on to the next one. John [Meneilly] called up me, like, “Yo, Izod got the thing.” I was like “Shit!” He was like, “On to the next one.” I was like, “Let’s go,” and that was it. That was big. We took a big swing. It was close—to the warning track. But that’s what happens. That’s part of it. Take your lumps, you know. Izod gave us a punch in the face.

On the real Frank Lucas:
I don’t think many people knew who he was. You know, but he did it [hustled] correctly. He did it all the way correctly. The only thing he didn’t do was leave. Cause when you get that much money there’s no hiding it. When the guy selling you the stuff is like, “Yo chill out, you gotta leave.” You gotta leave man. You gotta break out. C’mon man, now you’re being bad. That’s gluttony. God is going to punish you at this point. Right? 50 million in 1970? That’s great. 100 million in ‘70? That a little over doing it. $250 million? That’s like $2 billion or something back then. What’s wrong with him? What was he trying to do? What was the goal? What was the cut off point for him? He’s at 250! I would love to ask him that question. I’m going to ask him at the premiere

E1999 STARTS OUT WITH SOME CHICK SCREAMING WITH SOME DEMON SOUNDING DUDE WELCOMING YOU BACK THE MEMBERS AND A BIZZY BONE VERSE PLAYING IN REVERSE. YOU HAVE THE MEMBERS RECITING A SONG TO A QUIJA BOARD. THE RAPPERS MELODIC LY TALK ABOUT KILLING YOU WITH DEEP BASS PUMPING TRACK. THESE SPOOKY CATS MADE WAY FOR THE SPOOKS WHO SAT BY THE DOOR

http://www.megaupload.com/?d=QPSDLTC2

4.SCARFACE- THE DIARY

I STILL THINK THIS IS SCARFACE'S HARDEST ALBUM UP TO DATE. ON THE DIARY H HAD SOME HARD HITTING BEATS WITH DEEP RHYMES ABOUT HIS LIFE. THE ALBUM STARTS OFF WITH AN EERIE PIANO TUNE OF THE SCARFACE THEME. THE SPOOKY SONGS ARE NOT TEARS WHICH HAS ANOTHER EERIE PIANO TUNE WHERE SCARFACE TELLS THE STORY OF A MAN SCARED TO DIE. I SEEN A MAN CRY WHICH HAS A SPOOKY YET ALMOST SPACEY TUNE TO IT WHERE HE TELLS THE STORY OF A MAN WHO GET OUT OF JAIL AND TRIES TO REDEEM HIS LIFE ONLY TO BE KILLED AND HAS TO COME TO GRIPS WIT DEATH. AND MY MIND PLAIN TRICKS ON ME 94, A REMAKE OF THE SONG HIS EARLIER GROUP THE GETTO BOYS DID, WHICH WAS EERIE AS WELL, THIS WAS A GOOD FLASHBACK TO SCARFACE SITING ALONE IN HIS FOUR CORNERED ROOM STARING AT CANDLES, CLASSIC SPOOKY ALBUM.

5.MF GRIMM- SCARS AND MEMORIES

OW FOR THIS LAST SLOT I COULD HAVE EASILY CHOSE ANOTHER ALBUM WITH AN OUT THERE, HORRORCORE THEME, BUT THIS ALBUM WAS SPOOKY JUST BASED ON RAW TALENT AND TRUE LIFE. MF GRIMM GOES DEEP ON THIS ALBUM WITH TRACKS RANGING FROM HIM GETTING SHOT TEN TIMES WHERE HE SETS THE EERIE SCENE AS HE RECALLS IT, TO HIM BEING MAD AT GOOD AND YELLING AT HIM FOR IT HAPPENING WHILE HE FIGHTS THE DEVIL TO KEEP HIS SOUL CLEAN. HE ALSO
HAS SPOOKY PRODUCTION ON 'EMOTIONS' WITH A HAUNTING PIANO SAMPLE, WITH OTHER TRACKS FROM SPOOKY PRODUCE MF DOOM. WHAT ALSO MAKES THIS ALBUM SPOOKY IS HE HAS A PICTURE OF HIM BEFORE HE GOT SHOT O THE ALBUM COVER STANDING UP WHICH KIND OF MAKES YOU THINK WHAT COULD THIS TALENTED EMCEE HAVE ACCOMPLISHED IF HE COULD STILL WALK. ALSO, ALTHOUGH THE ALBUM WAS RELEASED IN 2005, THE SONGS WERE MOSTLY SONGS THAT WERE WRITTEN IN THE EARLY 90'S THAT WERE STOLEN, SO ITS ALMOST LIKE GOING BACK IN TIME WITH MF GRIMM. DEFINITELY SPOOKY YET REAL.

Jermaine Dupri Producing most of Nas's new album

I don't know about this one, not saying that Dupri is a bad producer because he has dropped some hot tracks;(okay maybe that one "money aint a thing)so maybe this is not a good decision by Nas at all. What we want is some more Nas and Premo("Nas Is Like"), some more Nas and Pete Rock ("The World Is Yours") Will these hip hop days ever return. Anyway I hope he changes up producers because that pair up sounds about as offkey as his partner AZ's decision to sign with Dipset.

Jermaine Dupri Flippin Out

This is a video of Jemaine Dupri flippin out on some industry executive about comments that were made about Justin Timberlake. Why? I dont know just the makings of the industry, I guess.

Nas's New Album Titled- "Nigger"

Of course with a title like this there has been great controversy sorrounding Nas's new album. Recently a brooklyn assemblyman demanded that the New York Comptroller withdraw an $84 million state pension fund invested in Universal Music Group unless Nas changes the title. I again say an artists has the freedom and also the responsibility to challenge us to discuss all subjects, especially those that are taboo because of the fear attatched to them. The word Nigger is a word; a nasty demoralizing word, but still a word and no artist should be denieed their freedom of speech to help us unerstand and come to dealing with society's issues. As a long term fan of Nas, I am sure he will approach the subject from an intellectual point of view and with a maturity that he has grown over the years as an artist. I for one look foward to hearing it, so go get the album and lets confront or fears in life and work together to resolve them.
